Annie’s Favorite Things Vol 6: Snacks

It can take some trial and error to find snacks that are both safe and genuinely enjoyable—but I’ve found some real winners along the way. I’m excited to share a few of my personal favorites in case you're looking for new options that fit your needs, too.

They might not all be Top 9 free, but they are free of my allergens: things like gluten, corn, egg, soy, almond, chicken, parsley… yep, even parsley. 😅

So here’s what’s in my snack drawer—because when I’m not baking up a storm, these are the snacks keeping me fueled. Let’s snack smart—and tasty!

88 Acres Seed + Oat Bar

These granola seed bars are my go-to snack. They're made with real, wholesome ingredients like oats, maple syrup, and dark chocolate—plus they're totally allergen-free, which means I can take them anywhere and share without worry. The seed blend gives them the perfect crunch and a boost of plant-based protein, so they’re both tasty and filling.

Nature Nate’s Better than Popcorn!

Since I’m allergic to corn, popped sorghum has been my favorite popcorn alternative. It’s deliciously crunchy and has a clean, wholesome taste that’s gentle on sensitive stomachs. I love that it’s made from organic sorghum and offers a healthy, allergen-friendly snack option that doesn’t compromise on flavor. If you’re looking for something tasty and easy to enjoy without the usual popcorn worries, this is definitely it!

Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars

I can only handle limited amounts of dairy, so while most of my favorite snacks are allergen-free, these Yasso Sea Salt Caramel Chocolate Crunch bars are my go-to indulgence when I want something creamy and satisfying. Made with rich Greek yogurt, caramel, just the right touch of sea salt, and a crunchy chocolate shell studded with quinoa crisps, they hit the perfect balance of sweet and salty.

Simple Mills Organic Seed Crackers

I’m seriously obsessed with these Simple Mills Garlic & Herb Seed Crackers! Finding a cracker that’s safe, corn-free, and parsley-free (which is huge for me) is nearly impossible—but these deliver. They’re crunchy, flavorful, and check all my allergen boxes without any weird extras. Perfect for snacking solo or with your favorite dips, these crackers have totally changed the game for me!

Crunchsters

These Crunchsters have quickly become one of my favorite snacks that I keep coming back to. Made from sprouted mung beans, they’re crunchy, savory, and packed with plant-based protein—all without upsetting my digestion. If you’re craving a satisfying crunch on your salad but are allergic to most crunchy things, these are a lifesaver. Plus, they’re free from all the common allergens—gluten, nuts, dairy—and made by Free2b, a brand I truly trust!
